CHJC Announces Lisa Parsons as Chair of Board of Directors

Watertown, New York (May 21, 2025)Watertown, NY – CHJC is proud to announce the appointment of Lisa Parsons as Chair of its Board of Directors. A dedicated advocate for children and families, Ms. Parsons brings years of leadership experience and a strong commitment to CHJC’s mission of serving the North Country community.

Lisa’s strategic insight, passion for service, and long-standing support of CHJC make her an outstanding choice to lead our Board. CHJC is thrilled to welcome her into this role as we continue to expand and strengthen our programs and services. Michelle L. Ms. Parsons has served on CHJC’s Board of Directors since 2020, offering valuable guidance during a time of growth and innovation across the agency. As Board Chair, she will lead governance efforts and work closely with executive leadership to advance CHJC’s initiatives in behavioral health, foster care, youth development, and family preservation.

In addition to her leadership at CHJC, Ms. Parsons serves as the Assistant Superintendent at South Jefferson Central School District, where she works closely with students, families, and educators to promote academic success and student well-being. Her deep understanding of the challenges facing today’s youth is a valuable asset to CHJC’s mission of “creating opportunities to enhance lives one relationship at a time.”

Ms. Parsons succeeds Greg Dalpe, whose steady and strategic leadership helped guide CHJC through a period of remarkable change and growth.
